Archery Master at Arms Course

Would you like earn your Master at Arms Archery badge? This is an intense archery experience with the odd bit of fun (run over 4 days). It will take place at Spikes Activity Building, Drum Hill (22nd/23rd and 29th/30th March 2025), at a cost of £75.00.

 

Please book early to avoid disappointment. Bookings for this course will close on 28th February 2025 or when the course is fully booked.

 

If you have tried archery before and liked it, then this course is for you. We will take you much further than just having a go, at a Scout camp.

This course is only open to Scouts and Explorers.
You will learn:

·        How to shoot and correctly collect your arrows

·        All safety rules will be explained, so you can perform archery safely

·        How to score and different types of scoring

·        How to setup and takedown a recurve bow

·        On-going coaching will be given, to help you improve your shooting technique

The course is over 4 separate days and will require transport to/from Drum Hill, each day. A packed lunch and some snacks will be required, each day, Hot/Cold drinks and biscuits will be provided on the course.
